Believe in yourself! If God is calling you to be a priest then you will be the priest God wants you to be! I have difficult time believing that you did something so terrible that you would be a horrible priest. Priesthood is not a question of are you worthy, but rather are you willing to be a priest. God will provide the grace you need, and there is no sin that cannot be forgiven if you are willing to confess.

We all learn from our past. God does not look at our sins, but on our contrition and on our faith and love of Him.
