![]() Hi, I'm Fr. Jim. I've been a Man In Black for 27 years. Hard to believe it's been that long. Time flies, I guess. (Sorry, the pilot in me couldn't resist) The questions you see on this site are from people just like you. Here are some answers to questions you might have about me. As a kid, I grew up on farm near Madison in west central Minnesota. After high school, I entered the seminary in St. Paul. In the years since then, I've celebrated mass and the sacraments at several parishes in our diocese, including our mission in Guatemala this summer. Most weeks you'll find me out and about ... visiting the sick, consoling the homebound and collaborating with my parishioners on other pastoral projects. And often, you'll catch me with my head in the clouds. (No, there's no Flying Nun sequel on the horizon) You see, in between my parish work, I'm building a two passenger experimental aircraft in my garage. I've also been trying my hand at growing roses. (No miracles to report on that front - yet!) If you have any questions about the priesthood, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions. If you don't find the answer there, you can email a question to us. Just look for the form at the bottom of the FAQ page. |
